To make money to provide organizations in India with money so they can educate the youth

Hello! My name is Shay. I am currently going to be a rising senior in high school and I was born in the United States as Indian-American. I will also be fundraising with a very nice friend named, Riddhi. She is currently a rising senior as well, born in America, and proud to be an Indian-American. We both decided to start a bake sale because of our interests in the culinary field and how it ultimately makes us happy including the people we will continue to nourish. The contributors will help us achieve various meaningful impacts to the community. First impact is the access to quality education, this fundraiser will provide severaltypes of educational resources including textbooks and other learning materials. Funds will also help renovate schools and create a safe learning environment for students which will also implement teachers to also acquire training programs. Also, with our social media page and spread more awareness this will prioritize the importance of education and highlight how the strength of the community will donate more to the cause. We would like to raise around how much money we think is enough to donate which would be around 500 to 1,000 USD and we would absolutley adore and hope to get more. Since the travel to India would be really tough for the both of us, we would like to send the money to the Ekal management in the United Sates which then should be shipped to help the people in India. Our idea was to nourish the people we are serving food to as well as nourish the people sufferring in India. We have come to the realization how much resources people have in America and how different it is for the people in India, who end up having limited resources. We would like to make money to provide for Ekal Vidyalaya and potentially other Indian organizations with money so they are able to educate the youth to have a progressing society of employed students in order to reduce poverty rates, as well as have students build a community with others. We are also going to make an instagram page called "bakeforbharat" and include family members to post our work on social media including Whatsapp and other platforms. In the end, your contributions to our bake sale will have a significant and long-lasting impact on the lives of many children in India, giving them oppurtunities for a better future through education. Your contribution will help to generate a chain reaction, impacting not only individual lives but entire communities.
