Raising money to increase education access across rural schools in India.
I firmly believe that anyone can do anything. Einstein developed his theories because he had the physics exposure, environment, and luck necessary to do so, but it didn’t have to be him! It could have been his best friend, his neighbor, or his babysitter. Could have been me! However, innovation and advancement need one thing. Education.
Unfortunately, hundreds of millions of young children in hundreds of thousands of rural villages in India don’t have proper access to education. The remote geography of these locations makes internal infrastructure development especially difficult, causing a severe negative feedback loop.
The Education mission of Ekal Vidyalaya works to provide tuition-free programs with a comprehensive curriculum to these villages across the country. It takes 42 years to graduate an uneducated family out of poverty, but with a first-learner, it takes only 12. Ekal’s efficient, low-cost schools each require only $1/day to operate, so just $365 funds one year of school! Please donate to reach, educate, and empower as many as we can.
