In a remote village in Jharkhand, a young girl named Sumitra had no access to education. Like many girls in her community, she spent her days helping her family with chores and had no opportunity to learn. After an Ekal school was established in her village, Sumitra began attending classes.
She not only learned to read and write but also developed confidence and life skills. Today, she mentors other girls in her community, encouraging them to pursue education. Sumitra's story is a testament to Ekal's commitment to empowering girls in tribal regions.
